Never the Same Place Twice

Staying up-to-date with the latest in healthcare, whether from Dr. Google, pubmed.gov, ThisJournal and ThatJournal, or friends, can be a confusing undertaking. Years ago, eggs were forbidden, too much cholesterol! And then they were okay, nutritious and good source of protein. Now they’re off your list again. Coffee saves your liver, has lots of beneficial polyphenols, but may cause atrial fibrillation. What are we to believe? Your harried doctor or her PA might have 10-20 minutes with you and, because of that, may interrupt you within the first minute, be called out of the room for a consult, or may diagnose you before you’ve even finished your story. Good people pressed for time, both you and your PCP!

You won’t have to worry about missing anything from my feed. Every new edition of the newsletter goes directly to your inbox. I will provide information from new studies, from preprint articles about COVID (i.e. the very latest news), to tips about how to handle your care providers who work with too little time and too much information presented perhaps in ways you don’t understand. Challenge me, contradict me; let’s get this discussion going!

You can always find me at judypaley.substack.com. New posts will be also e-mailed to you, but if it’s too much clutter in your inbox already, you can omit your address and check out my website.

Thanks for stopping by. I’m still trying to navigate this platform, and I’m definitely no techno babe. I appreciate your company and your opinions!

Best wishes,

Judy
